The current supported formats include ".ogg, .mp4, .webm". While you can upload other video formats, we cannot guarantee they won't cause issues. Click on the designated area to upload media files. You can also drag files onto this area.
Mixing various types of media in a collection, such as images and videos, is not allowed.
Uploading video files, like WEBM or MP4, to the Artwork section of your NFT project is a straightforward process. Depending on the project type, you can add multiple videos or just one:
"Editions" collection: You will only be allowed to upload one video. Once uploaded, you will see the video displayed in the upload area:
If you want to change de video, you have to drag a video file over the existing one. Alternatively, you can hover the mouse over it, and then you will see a "Change media" button. Click on it and select the file that replaces the selected one:
"Drops" collection: If you are creating this type of collection, you will be allowed to add as many videos as you need without "any limit". Click on the "Add tokens media" area or drag files over it. Once completed, you will see the number of uploaded videos and the thumbnails of the first three images below:
If you need to remove all media files, you can click on the "Remove All media" option:
On the other hand you can remove only selected files by clicking on the "Edit Tokens Media" option and selecting which ones you want to remove by clicking on the "DELETE" option:
Finally, when you finish deploying the collection, you will see all uploaded video files converted to NFTs on the Minting page.
Once you've uploaded the file/s, you will be able to set video metadata. You can learn how to use this tool here.
Be careful with video sizes because some marketplaces donยดt show NFTs videos larger than a defined size. Check to ensure that your NFTs displays properly.
Once you have uploaded the file, you will see the option of a poster image for the video. This poster image will be displayed in the marketplaces as a thumbnail, while also providing the option to see the video.
It is recommended that the posters have square dimensions so that the visualization fits well in the marketplace. At the end of this page, I will show you an example of how it would look in a marketplace.
The visualization depends on each marketplace; you will be able to see it on our minting page, and platforms like OpenSea will also display it correctly.
Here you can see an example of how it would be displayed, for example, in the OpenSea marketplace:
Some marketplaces donยดt allow video playback. Check this and if not, set a poster image.
It will look better and you can show what your video is about.
